Attorney Crystal Fletcher Raises $105,000 in the Second Quarter of 2019
Dallas, Texas – Crystal Fletcher, a local attorney with a statewide legal practice, raised over $100,000 just four weeks after entering the Democratic primary race for Texas’ 24th congressional district. 100% of her total contributions came from individuals.
“The strength of our campaign comes from passionate supporters of justice who are eager to see someone with my record make current leadership in the 24th accountable to its people,” said Fletcher. “I am proud to be running a campaign to bring real representation to constituents who have waited so long for someone who listens and puts their families first,” added Fletcher.
Fletcher is a native of Sachse, Texas. She is the first person in her family to graduate from high school in the traditional way; both of her parents quit school by the age of sixteen but earned their diplomas through a work program. Her family’s example and neighborly values taught Crystal to value education and care for others. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas and earned her law degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
The Crystal Fletcher for Congress primary election team includes Sarah Slamen, a nationally recognized women’s rights activist and Texas-based political consultant, Moxie Media and Global Strategy Group. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has placed Kenny Marchant on its ‘Republican Retirement Watch List’. Texas’ 24th district is considered one of the top targeted seats for defense by the National Republican Campaign Committee.
